Accomodation

Toulouse has a wide variety of accommodation options for travelers, in all price ranges and styles.

The University has partnered with two centrally located low-price residences:

Venue

The conference will take place at the Maison de la Recherche 2 (MdR2), situated in the campus of Université de Toulouse Jean Jaurès.

The plenary conferences will take place in room F417 (amphitheater). All the other (on-site) talks will take place in room F417 and room F411/F412 (4th floor of MdR2). (On-site) posters will be displayed in the hall in front of the amphitheater.

How can you reach the conference site?

- If you wish to use the Tisseo public transport network:

a) From the Toulouse Blagnac airport: take the airport shuttle (navette aéroport) direction "Gare Matabiau", get out at the stop Allées Jean Jaurès, take metro A  direction "Basso Cambo" and get out at the stop "Mirail Université". From the metro exit, you can reach MdR2 in less than 10 minutes walk.

b) From the Toulouse Matabiau train station: take metro A  direction "Basso Cambo" and get out at the stop "Mirail Université". From the metro exit, you can reach MdR2 in less than 10 minutes walk.

c) From the city center: If your hotel is located in the city center, the fastest way to reach the university campus is to take metro A from one of the metro stations Jean Jaurès, Capitole or Esquirol.

d) From the EKLO hotel: the  fastest way to reach the university campus is to take tramway T1, direction "Palais de Justice", get out at the stop Arènes,  take metro A  direction "Basso Cambo" and get out at the stop "Mirail Université". From the metro exit, you can reach MdR2 in less than 10 minutes walk.

e) From other locations in the city: refer to the Tisseo journey planner. 

- If you wish to use a bicycle, you can rent one at the VélôToulouse public bike rental service (an English version of the site unfortunately does not exist) at the initial daily cost of 1.6 euros. Notice that you will need a credit card to purchase your rental ticket. A map of all the VélôToulouse stations is available here.
